The activities of Confal started on May 26th of 1971 with the objective of providing technical services on every activities of forest engineer sector.
In 1973, the company expanded its activities to the sectors of rural properties evaluation, forest evaluations, and timber, paper and cellulose industries.
The company stood out on 1980 for the execution of division services of lands and forest with the objective of guiding business splitting. Starting on 1986, Confal expanded its technical team and began to work on environmental protection and recovery of depredated lands; with the objective of attending clients necessities with a global perspective. Recently, Confal closed a partnership with the Index Ambiental Group, to a better fulfillment of environmental demands of the clients who believe that the green economy is the first step to promote the sustainable development.
Confal executes approximately 4.000 studies, projects, technical analysis and reports for several purposes.
